populations such as refugees, asylees, the elderly, the
disabled, low-literate persons, and persons in detention.

Training & Technical Support

CLINIC's Training and Technical Support Division delivers
legal expertise to a network of over 1,000 non-profit legal
immigration providers through phone consultations, e-mail list
serve, one- and two-day training, and immigration manuals,
books, and newsletter articles. These services support the
division's goal to expand the availability of professional, low-
cost immigration services through community-based legal
programs.

Its "field attorneys" in five locations deliver individualized
support to member agency immigration programs in their
regions.

Advocacy

The Division of Advocacy (DA) focuses on advocacy, media stories and
litigation.  CLINIC engages in administrative advocacy with the Department
of  Homeland Security and the Executive Office for Immigration Review.

Legalization

The Division of Legalization (DL) prepares charitable immigration programs
to expand their service-delivery capacity and seeks to establish a
coordinated service-delivery and legal support architecture that will
significantly strengthen the immigrant rights community.

Religious Immigration Services

The Division of Religious Immigration Services (DRIS) is an integral
component of CLINIC's mission to meet the legal immigration needs of
Catholic arch/dioceses, religious institutes, and communities and the
foreign-born priests, nuns, brothers and lay religious workers the Church
seeks to immigrate.
