Staff Attorney

Jenitza Castro is a staff attorney in CLINIC’s Religious Immigration Services section. Prior to joining CLINIC, Castro served as an immigration attorney working with asylum applicants, affirmative petitions, and individuals who are victims of crime. Before practicing immigration law, Castro worked as a government relations coordinator for the Jubilee Campaign USA, an organization that worked to expose human rights abuses. Born in Pennsylvania and raised in Puerto Rico, Castro received her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Massachusetts, and her master’s and Juris Doctorate from Regent University School of Law.
