Yaraldine (Yara) Gomez serves as a Project Assistant for the Field Engagement team at CLINIC, where she is responsible for providing administrative and logistical support to field engagement projects.
Prior to joining CLINIC, Gomez was an administrative assistant at the United Farm Workers Foundation, where she found her love for the field of immigration and helping underserved communities. Gomez provided administrative support with both affirmative and removal defense projects cases. In her previous role, Gomez worked on providing emergency services such as food supplies, personal protective equipment, vaccines, and other necessities as needed for farmworker communities during the pandemic through collaborations with other nonprofit organizations. As a first generation immigrant, Gomez resonates with CLINIC’s mission of welcoming the stranger.
