CLINIC and more than 95 national, state, and local organizations submitted a letter to the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) to address the re-emerging problem with delays in processing times for Recognition and Accreditation (R&A) applications. The recent adjudication delays have hindered the effectiveness of the R&A program and the advocacy for clients of accredited representatives. The letter provides additional recommendations to improve capacity building and transparency between the agency and R&A stakeholders.
