On Nov. 3, 2020 CLINIC and the University of Minnesota Law School’s Immigration and Human Rights Clinic filed an amicus brief in the Second Circuit Court of Appeals challenging the immigration judge's reliance on a Department of State Human Rights Report in denying the applicant's asylum claim from Honduras. The brief criticizes DOS Human Rights reports as not providing comprehensive information and for becoming increasingly politicized.
