This webinar will explore what it means to practice immigration law with competence and diligence, pursuant to state rules of professional conduct as well as federal immigration regulations. Through practical, real-world scenarios, this webinar will illustrate how these rules apply in the day-to-day realities of immigration practice. Attendees will gain concrete strategies for meeting their professional obligations, including managing caseloads, staying updated on legal developments, keeping clients updated on their cases, and ensuring each matter receives the thoroughness and preparation it deserves. Finally, the webinar will identify common pitfalls that can lead to ethical violations and disciplinary action and how to avoid them.
