Recordings: Creating and Growing Robust Volunteer Programs

Is your organization considering a new volunteer project or program? Does your organization want to learn more about how to utilize volunteers? This two-part recorded webinar series is designed for organizations that seek to improve existing volunteer programs or start new ones. It will go over the essential components of starting, sustaining, and growing your volunteer program. Week one will provide information on creating and building a strong foundation for your program, and week two will discuss best practices for maintaining and growing your volunteer program.

Webinar One: Foundational Components of a Strong Volunteer Program (90 Minutes)
This session will discuss procedures, policies, and methods that foster a strong foundation for volunteer programs. CLINIC experts will discuss how to create valuable volunteer opportunities, ethical considerations for volunteer engagement, and adequate supervision of volunteers.
Webinar Two: Recruiting, Training, and Retaining Volunteers (90 Minutes)
This second webinar of the series is for programs that may be unable to sustain current staffing levels. Organizational leadership must consider risks and responsibilities that impact downsizing and/or closure, and management of communication should be top of mind, both internally and externally.
