Recording: Legal Options for Afghans and Ukrainians
Available Oct. 8 - Dec. 7, 2025 | CA MCLE: Self-Study
The Trump administration has enacted sweeping changes to immigration programs and policies that significantly affect Afghan and Ukrainian nationals and their ability to remain in the United States. In this webinar, CLINIC staff provide updates on key developments and trends that impact these populations, including the termination of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Afghanistan, the scope of the recently implemented Travel Ban, and the expansion of expedited removal and its application to parolees. Presenters also explore available legal pathways for Afghan and Ukrainian nationals - including both principal applicants and their derivatives - such as asylum and adjustment of status.
